Terry Sanford

Terry is a qualified Life, Business and Executive Coach, who specialises in building resilience in people and organisations and helping them communicate more effectively. Running his own company for the last 10 years and being President of the Wellington Chamber of Trade and Commerce, he understands the importance of these qualities in creating a successful workplace.

Terry believes that every person has the right to be who they were created to be. If there is anything stopping them from achieving that, he is always happy to apply his skill in helping people and businesses achieve their full potential.

Terry joined Crosslink Academy because he firmly believes in the company values and is committed to achieving a positive culture in business. Along with his Diploma in Life Coaching , he is also a Member of the International Stress Management Association (MISMA) and a Member of the Institute for Developmental Transactional Analysis (MIDTA).

Terry is passionate about helping young people in the transition between education and work and has gained a Certificate in Education to enable him to teach young people at that transition stage. He is also a Member of the Institute of Learning (MIfL).

Frank Bennett

Frank has 20 years experience as a leader/manager, being an Inspector in the Devon & Cornwall Police Leadership & Management Training Team, with much experience in developing new and existing leaders/managers.

Becoming the Force Training Support Manager he co-wrote the Force Learning strategy and headed the department responsible for developing trainers, quality assurance and the Corporate Training Plan for an organisation of 6000 people.

His team worked with operational managers to identify organisational performance needs to ensure all training was designed and delivered for improved performance and cost effectiveness.

Frank is a qualified Life Coach working with adults and young people and trained in America in Strengths identification and development. He believes life is valuable, a privilege and not a right, and that you can find and release your full potential.

Barrie Townsend

Barrie has been in leadership roles for several decades and has held a variety of management and senior management roles within the demanding retail motor industry. He has enjoyed much success and scored a perfect 1000/1000 in the Dimensions of Excellence programme with a major motor manufacturer.

He is passionate about developing and encouraging people, recognising that people are an organisation’s greatest resource. Barrie has written a number of seminars that seek to demonstrate that success will follow positive leadership principles.

He also believes that fun has an important role in the workplace to build resilience and create an atmosphere where people positively enjoy coming to work. Barrie’s heart is to take people out of the ‘chicken-run’ of life and to help them ‘soar like eagles!’
